Swansea have bagged wins in both of the sides’ two head-to-head clashes over the past five years

Birmingham City vs Swansea betting preview
Despite a somewhat underwhelming pre-season, Swansea have started their Championship campaign well and they travel to Birmingham for their Matchday 3 clash on the back of two wins in a row and six points earned against Sheffield United (1-2) and Preston North End (1-0). They’ll now hope to build on the success and cause an upset at St. Andrew's but come priced to win at 31/20 with BetVictor.

We’ve seen them pull one back and overturn the clash at the Blades with late goals from McBurnie and Dhanda, surely taking confidence from it and Graham Potter should have no troubles lifting their team spirits ahead of the clash now either.

Birmingham City, on the other hand, struggled to get it underway and only earned a  thriller 2-2 draw against Norwich City in the opener at this ground, going on to suffer narrow losses at Middlesbrough (1-0 in Championship) and Reading (2-0 in League Cup).

Blues now hope to bounce back quickly and put on another solid challenge in front of the home crowd but we’ve seen them regularly conceding goals, and this could be a worry ahead of the tough challenge the Swans surely present at this point.
Birmingham City vs Swansea predictions
We will thus go for the visitors to outgun them and snatch all three points on Friday evening, as backing Swansea does look like a solid value at 31/20 with BetVictor and has already seen support from many in the know.

We do believe they’ll have to outgun Birmingham to do so, though, and with that in mind – we’re also going for Over 2.5 Goals FT at 5/4 with Ladbrokes. We’ve seen Swans conceding goals on the road and the home side will be holding faith they can make use of any slip-ups at the back too.
